The stable is a space for caring for riding and working with the horses that
serves the children of Tovia and the members of Beit Elisha.
The members are involved in the stable taking care of the horses, cleaning the
stalls and yards, maintaining the riding equipment, gardening and taking care
of the entire space. Working in the stable is also suitable for friends with
complex behavior, who benefit greatly from working with the animals.

The vegetable garden of Beit Elisha grows organic vegetables.
The members of the workshop are engaged in sowing, planting and harvesting,
weeding and constant handling of compost. In the changing space of the
seasons, motor skills are acquired, exposure to the harmony of nature and
connection to the processes of life.
The workshop is staffed by friends who need physical work in an open space
and contact with the land.

The workshop activities include animal care-goats, sheep, chickens, donkeys and rabbits , cleaning the cages and space,
The members are feeding, going out to pasture, milking and transporting compost wheelbarrows
to the vegetable garden.

The closeness to the land and the animals, dealing with physical effort and the
connection to the seasons, the challenges of working in a team – all of these
are extremely valuable to the members working in the workshop.

In the weaving workshop, scarves, blankets, carpets, tablecloths and more are
produced. The work is done by hand on professional looms with natural and
high-quality materials – cotton, linen, wool and more. The workshop includes
members who need to work in a quiet and calm space, who have a penchant
for handicrafts and aesthetics and fine motor skills.

The paper workshop is a small factory for everything and produces notebooks
for Waldorf schools (or about 40 anthroposophical schools) all over the
country. Throughout the year orders are received from the schools and we
produce, pack, store and transport.
In addition, the workshop produces greeting cards, notebooks, calendars and
other decorative paper products in which the paintings of the members of Beit
Elisha are integrated. The work in the workshop is repetitive and regular and
suitable for members who need a quiet routine.

The workshop specializes in the production of useful ceramic vessels with an
emphasis on aesthetics and high quality of finish: bowls of various sizes, baking
pans, pitchers, candlesticks, flower pots and more. The technique is unique and
manual and allows even physically disabled members to take part in the
production process. The design of the tools is done in molds, leaving a personal
mark of the creator on each tool. The members learn in the workshop to develop
a sense of aesthetics, sensitivity to proportions, attitude to conduct within the
framework of time, cooperation, pride and professional identity.

The kitchen of the Kama association provides lunch every day for the members
of Beit Elisha and the staff, and the diners at the Kama cafe. The staff and
members are required to adhere to a defined and sometimes tight schedule.
The members work with a variety of raw materials and are integrated into                                                                                                                                                                                            almost all production processes. The workshop is suitable for independent and
active members and any member with a personal area of responsibility.

Kamah’s bakery bakes breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, crackers and granola
that are sold in Kamah’s cafe-gallery. The way of working aims to allow the
members to carry out complete processes until the finished product.
The work in the workshop is varied and can be adapted to members with
different abilities, who are able to withstand intense physical work and a strict
daily schedule.

In the Kamah cafe – Galery, pastries, sandwiches and light meals are served,
made by the kitchen and bakery workshops of Beit Elisha. The cafe also serves
as a gallery and a store selling the products of the bakery, weaving, ceramics
and paper workshops.
The cafe enables exposure / gives an opportunity to the general public to get
to know what is being done in the association.
The members working in the cafe learn to develop adaptability, flexibility and
mission. The job also requires communication with the audience, courtesy and
the ability to serve as a team.
The cafe also hosts groups by appointment.

In the greenhouse workshop of Beit Elisha, vegetables, flowers, spices
and house plants are grown. Ready-made pots are sold in the gallery
together with the ceramic pots.
The work in the workshop is actually gardening therapy that connects the members to the seedlings and the soil, the work is done in a protected environment in the indoor greenhouse structure, and some of the work can be done sitting down. Suitable for those who need gentle and not too strenuous work.

In the candle workshop, decorative candles are made from natural
beeswax combined with dried local flowers.
The candles are made using the technique of dipping the wick in hot
wax. The work in the workshop is done in a quiet environment and
requires concentration and precision.
